My summer as the creative project management intern at Condé Nast
What did my role consist of and what daily tasks did I complete?
My role involved supporting the team in client-facing meetings, including kick-offs, pitches, and PPMs. I created project timelines for several high-profile partnerships and managed daily client relationships. As a Vogue representative, I attended photoshoots, ensuring the client's voice was heard and their needs were met, while also ensuring that the deliverables were achieved. I also led several projects, including interactive native articles on Condé Nast Traveller, traffic drivers, and a double-page spread in World of Interiors. I had the opportunity to attend numerous lunch-and-learns with business leads across Condé Nast, including Roger Lynch and Chioma Nnadi. My role also involved working on a Dragon's Den Pitch competition, which I presented to a panel of judges in front of several hundred people.

My Reflection
How did I grow?
From receiving the news that I had secured the internship, finding accommodation, and getting on a flight to the big city of London, to now having completed the 10 weeks, I have grown in so many ways.
I moved from the small island of Guernsey to the big city of London, and this experience has been so rewarding. I have had the opportunity to contribute to numerous projects and have had the privilege to learn from the best in the industry.
Across the 10 weeks I have…
Worked on 7 Vogue and Glamour shoots with the CNCC team, helping manage client relationships and acting as a runner.
Had the privilege of managing three client projects across digital and print brands. My pinch-me moment was seeing Condé Nast Traveller x Visit Qatar coming to life online! I will also be running to the shops when my other projects are released in print!
Throughout the internship, I've honed a range of transferable skills, including creating timelines and preparing P&Ls, as well as managing inter-team relationships.
On a personal level, I have navigated a brand new city, several tube closures and living alone! I have developed my resilience and ability to complete any task. Even moving out alone with my 30kg suitcase in 30 degree weather!
I have also shared this experience with nine other interns. They were a great shoulder to lean on, and we have made so many memories, from meeting with company leaders to our final presentations, and many lunches at Pret! I have been so fortunate to meet a group of hardworking, inspiring people. Thank you to the amazing People Team at Condé Nast for putting together this programme.
Undoubtedly, the most rewarding aspect of this internship has been the opportunity to learn from the Condé Nast Commercial Creative Team. Their dedication, passion, and hard work have been a constant source of inspiration for me, and I will always cherish the lessons I've learned from them. I will miss coming into this office every day!
I am so grateful to have had this experience, and will carry every lesson I have learnt into my future.
